Welcome to my world, where every detail matters—from the tiniest insect to the most joyous newly engaged couple!
I picked up my first camera in 2013, but it wasn’t until recently that I decided to take the plunge into becoming a "pro". My love for the craft has only grown, and I’m excited to share it with you!
When it comes to wildlife and nature - my passion lies in shifting perceptions—turning insects and spiders into fascinating subjects while also capturing the essence of art and creativity in the photo.
My style with people photography is all about catching those genuine moments in action. Though I’m here to guide you with posing tips, I believe that natural movement creates the magic. I’ll be with you every step of the way to ensure you feel confident and at ease. I’ve got your back!
Who am I?
A little bit more about me
01.
I’m Rachel!
I was born and raised in Youngstown, New York, with its beautiful forests, mountains, and lakes becoming my own personal backyard.
02.
Relationship with nature
I love nature. My youth was spent hiking, exploring, visiting nature preserves and rescuing spiders from the back porch with my dad :)
03.
Photography
My journey started with just wanting to take pictures of insects to post online for fun, but I was drawn to wanting to educate people more on their benefits, which is how I became more serious with photography.
04.
Interesting Fact
Not only am I a photographer, I am also a Master Naturalist trainee in the state of New York! It seemed like the perfect way to channel my bug obsession and have more opportunities to educate and photograph nature.
